The records from the SHPO database were geocoded. This point layer was extensively research in the spring and summer of 2009. Additional districts and geometry added in 2010-2011, and additional data researched and reorganized. Original maps, National Register Historic District documents' property lists, and change of status letters were used to verify the location and status of each record. The geometry of the footprints were originally derived from multiple sources. Manually digitized from 2008 aerial photography, conversion of layered pdf's to dwg's that were rubber sheeted to align with the 2008 aerials, pgdb or dwg's from the consultant, or raster to vector conversion of scanned hard copy maps for Sam Hughes N.R. District. Use [HDReg_Status] field to determine if a structure is contributing to a National Register Historic District ("Contributor"). Use [ILReg_Status] field to determine if a structure is Individually Listed on the National Register of Historic Places ("Listed") or is Eligible to be listed ("Eligible"). Tucson Water is responsible for repairs to hydrants connected to our water system. One exception is 60+ hydrants that were installed by Tucson Water in Flowing Wells irrigation districts to take care of city residents.
